Recently Mindfactory motherboard sales have been spotted by Tech Epiphany which tells this week the German retailer has sold 3130 AMD motherboards which is 10 times that of Intel.
On top of that, they sold 3810 AMD processors compared to only 485 Intel processors. In the GPU sales, we see 1570 units of NVIDIA GeForce graphic cards being sold, whereas the Radeon GPU sales at 1190 units.
It’s natural for AMD Ryzen 3000 CPUs to get excellent sales as they deliver better performance including games, with a higher core and thread count. At every price point, AMD has delivered a product line that consumers just cannot overlook.
It’s even disappointing to see more Radeon GPUs sold instead of Intel CPUs and even though Intel had a chance to reduce this, the Coronavirus pandemic has delayed the launch of their 10th Gen Intel desktop CPUs.
By the time they actually gain some healthy sales with their 10th Gen Intel CPUs in the market, AMD will be ready with its Ryzen 4000 desktop CPUs in October 2020.
In this difficult situation also AMD is likely continuing to make significant strides in the consumer market. Talking of motherboards, the new Ryzen 4000 will utilize the newer X670 motherboards which are supposed arrive later this year.
Thanks to AMD’s commitment to AM4 which gives the motherboard owners to upgrade their rigs with newer CPU with just a BIOS update. Even the owners of 1st gen B350 motherboards will be able to utilize the new CPUs and also the new B550 motherboards are also expected to debut this year as well.
