AMD Radeon RX 6800 and RX 6800 XT 16 GB GPUs are now available for less than $500 USD, making them an excellent choice for new PC builders. AMD Radeon RX 6800 16 GB graphics card, we have a Yeston bespoke design available in China for $394 US (2799 RMB).

This is the lowest price for the GPU thus yet, representing a 47% discount from the MSRP. That’s nearly half the cost of the identical GPU at launch. This offer is exclusively available through the Chinese retailer JD.com, however, there is also a deal on the RX 6800 XT for US customers.

The AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT is available for $499 USD at Newegg.

The exact GPU variant is the ASRock Phantom Gaming, which is also a fully custom design, and the price is 30% less than the MSRP. The card is originally priced at $539 USD, but you can save an additional $40 USD by using the promo code “VGAEXCAA687.”

Although not as substantial as the AMD Radeon RX 6800, what matters is that both of these cards have 16 GB of RAM, and based on our recent tests of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics cards, we believe both cards are a better value than NVIDIA’s current offerings.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is available in two variants: the 8 GB model, which costs $399 US, and the 16 GB GPU, which costs $499 US. The performance difference between the two types will be small because they share the same specifications, and NVIDIA has stated that the extra VRAM will be useful in a few instances.

Meanwhile, based on resolution, the AMD Radeon RX 6800 16 GB is already 10-20% quicker than the RTX 4060 Ti, while the RX 6800 XT can be 25-35% faster. Sure, the RTX 4060 Ti has a considerably quicker RT engine and unrivalled DLSS 3, but if you’re a gamer who doesn’t need those two features, AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 GPUs still provide a lot of value for the performance and characteristics they provide.
