All the Horror Film will hit on Netflix in 2022 & Beyond 

Netflix has discussed the 40 latest horror movies for your viewing pleasure this season in a lot of ways. Halloween just turn around the corner, we thought that we’d update you on all of the horror films that are recently in development and head to the service in 2022 and beyond. 

This Is an update to our horror preview published in January 2022 has covered some latest horror films and TV projects. We are splitting series and movies into individual previews and up first is the film. 

Here is the list of Horror Film in 2022: 

14. We Have a Ghost 

Christopher Landon wrote the screenplay and directed We Have A Ghost for Netflix. Among all of the cast of the film just aimed at families contains Jennifer Coolidge, David Harbou, Anthony Mackie, and Tig Notaro.

13. The Unsound 

David F. Samberg has worked on several horror films as Lights Out and Annabelle: Creation. The premise film is what truly gets us very excited. The film tells the first day of Ashli as a nurse at Saint Cascia Psychiatric Hospital. It turns into a nightmare as a bloody riot sends her fleeing into the bowels of the hospital.

The horror adaptation was first declared in 2020. The latest horror comedy comes from Eli Craig, Dan Farah, Andrew Farah, and David Stieve. 

11. The Goon 

After a decade of development hell, Netflix has declared on board to bring this horror-themed comic book. This Tim Miller from Blur Studio is also behind the project as described as “an average story concerning ghosts, ghouls, skunk-apes with such an unnatural hunger for pie, extra-dimensional aliens.

10. The Deliverance 

The film follows a true horror event of Latoya Amons and her family, the film is about to claim to have been the victim of a demonic possession that has spanned two years. The film shoots in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania throughout the entire summer on Netflix globally in 2023. 

9. Smile 

 The film was first declared in February 2022, the film comes on Netflix through Matt Reeves 6th & Idaho overall deal. The project has been directed by William McGregor. The film follows a teenager whose life just turned down when she’s bitten by a vampire at the time of traveling to Los Angeles. 

8. Selfie 

 In following the short film with the same name, the feature-length film will extend on the themes just covered in the short filming, looking into the horrors of body image. The Original shorty film just no longer available on YouTube and we have had no updates since the initial declaration back in October 2020.

7. My Wife and I Bought a Ranch 

21 laps Entertainment and Atomic Monster’s lineup on Netflix is like the adaptation of the Reddit short tale about Harry and Sasha who get their dream house on a ranch in Idaho. Their Neighbours have informed them that there is a malevolent spirit in the valley. 

6. Every House is Haunted 

Horror aficionado Sam Raimi will generate this latest horror film along with Corin Hardy just behind the director’s chair known for his work on the hallow and The Nun. The story follows an insurance investigator trying to debunk claiming that a couple’s death had been caused by a haunted house. 

5. Bioshock 

The film follows one of the most prolific video games in history, this adaptation is being directed by Francis Lawrence that has been directed by Francis Lawrence and also expected to watch the rapture translated onto the silver screen for the first time.

4. The Pale Blue Eye 

Release Date: 6th January 2023 

There is a long ensemble cast has been assembled for this gothic crime horror film from Cross Creek Pictures and Le Grisbi Productions. In this Christian Bale has provided such groundbreaking performances as we will see Harry Melling and Gillian Anderson. 

3. Wendell & Wild 

Release Date: 28th October 2022 

It has featured the voices of Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key. In this, the two scheming demon brothers will face their arch-nemesis, the demon-dusting nun Sister Helly. 

2. The Curse of Bridge Hollow 

Release Date: 14th October 2022 

The story has some similarities with 2015’s horror comedy Goosebumps as the novel destructive creatures enter into life, the latest film has utilized the concept that can guarantee the inanimate creature scaring the people.

1. Mr. Harrigan’s Phone 

Release Date: 5th October 2022 

The collaboration between Ryan Murphy and Blumhouse Productions will see the two companies will bring the Stephen King novel to life. We will see Donald Sutherland, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, joe Tippett, and Jaeden Martell.
