Ajay Devgn Wraps Up First Schedule of Dhamaal 4, Shares Fun-Filled Moments with Arshad Warsi, Sanjeeda Shaikh

Bollywood star Ajay Devgn took fans by surprise on Thursday with a much-awaited update on the beloved Dhamaal franchise. Via a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, the versatile actor confirmed the wrap-up of the initial shooting schedule for Dhamaal 4.

The shoot, completed at the scenic Malshej Ghat, marks the energetic start to another wild cinematic ride. Devgn also treated his followers to a series of behind-the-scenes snapshots, featuring fan-favorites Arshad Warsi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, and others, igniting excitement across social media.

A Joyful Kickoff in the Hills

Ajay Devgn’s post read: “The madness is BACK! 😍 #Dhamaal4 kicks off with a bang — Malshej Ghat schedule wrapped, Mumbai schedule rolling! 🎥 Let the laughter riot begin!”

The announcement was accompanied by two pictures. In the first, Devgn is seen posing with Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, and Sanjay Mishra—all grinning widely, suggesting the camaraderie and chaos that the film promises. The second snapshot features Devgn alongside director Indra Kumar and producer Bhushan Kumar, highlighting the powerhouse team behind the anticipated sequel.

A Franchise Built on Laughter

Originally launched in 2007, Dhamaal quickly gained cult status for its slapstick humor, absurd scenarios, and unforgettable character dynamics. Directed by Indra Kumar, the movie drew loose inspiration from classic American comedies like Rat Race and It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. With a stellar ensemble including Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, and Aashish Chaudhary, the film was a surprise box office success, raking in over ₹50 crore.

The popularity of the original sparked two sequels—Double Dhamaal in 2011 and Total Dhamaal in 2019. Each installment brought a fresh set of comedic disasters, new characters, and bigger adventures, securing the franchise a devoted fanbase. Dhamaal 4 aims to continue this tradition while introducing newer faces like Anjali Anand and Sanjeeda Shaikh into the chaotic universe.

Reviving Nostalgia with New Energy

The upcoming film not only sees the return of core actors like Devgn, Warsi, and Jaaferi but also infuses new energy with the addition of rising talents. Sanjeeda Shaikh’s inclusion hints at a new character arc or subplot, potentially adding a fresh dimension to the narrative. The cast’s chemistry, evident from the shared photos, sets the tone for another memorable laugh riot.

With Indra Kumar once again at the helm, fans can expect the same brand of madcap humor blended with high-stakes absurdity. Bhushan Kumar’s involvement as producer further strengthens the commercial backbone of the project, promising scale and spectacle.

What’s Next for Devgn?

Apart from Dhamaal 4, Ajay Devgn is juggling multiple high-profile ventures. His next big-screen appearance will be in Raid 2, a gritty sequel to the critically acclaimed 2018 thriller Raid. The film brings back IRS officer Amay Patnaik, this time unraveling another major financial scam.

Starring Vaani Kapoor opposite Devgn, Raid 2 is slated to hit theaters on May 1. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and produced by Panorama Studios.
