Golmaal 5 Release Date

Shetty announced the release with a “whistle-worthy” motion poster, confirming Golmaal 5 will hit cinemas on January 8, 2027. Why This Reunion Is a Big Deal

Golmaal 5 Release Date: The Entire Original Gang Returns After Nearly a Decade. What has fans most excited isn’t just the date — it’s the cast. This instalment marks the return of the complete original gang, including Sharman Joshi, who last featured in the franchise all the way back in 2006. The last theatrical entry, Golmaal Again, was released in 2017, meaning the fifth film arrives after a gap of nearly a decade.

A Legacy Nearly 20 Years in the Making

The Golmaal franchise has built one of Bollywood’s most durable comedy identities, and interestingly, hints of a fifth instalment date back to 2018, when the cast’s cameo in a Simmba dance video sparked fan speculation. That speculation has now, finally, become reality.

What’s Next

Plot and full cast details are still under wraps, but with an early-January slot locked in, Golmaal 5 is positioned as Bollywood’s first big comedy entertainer of 2027.
