What Happened in Episode 6? (Quick Recap)

The Aunts finalized the matches, and each one is on their way to reveal those matches to the families of this season’s Green girls. Agnes made a bold move in Episode 6, convincing Aunt Lydia to consider bringing Garth in as an eligible Commander — but whether that gambit pays off is far from certain.

Episode 6 also hinted that more and more Commanders are being called to the frontlines of Gilead’s ongoing war, adding a political and military undercurrent to what is otherwise a deeply personal episode about the fates of these young women.

What to Expect in Episode 7 — “Commitment”

The official synopsis lays out three major threads: “As Daisy’s secret past threatens to surface, Agnes grapples with an unwanted match and a forbidden crush. Becka meets with potential matches and finds unexpected kindness in one of them.” PRIMETIMER

Agnes got Aunt Lydia to consider bringing Garth in as an eligible Commander — but Lydia prefers to ensure that people are hardened for the events to come, which is one of the many things that makes this character so complicated. Don’t expect things to go smoothly for Agnes. The Snake

After getting drunk at the Ball, Becka has been expecting the worst — even fearing she would be matched with a man from the colonies. But it looks like her prospects may be better than even she expected.

And with Daisy’s secret past threatening to surface, the wider underground resistance operating in Gilead’s shadows is likely to come into sharper focus.
