Agent Kim Reactivated: So Ji Sub Survives Battlefields But Not… A Department Store Sale?

Forget bullets and bombs — the real challenge for Manager Kim might just be a department store opening rush. “Agent Kim Reactivated” has teased the dynamic between So Ji Sub and Son Naeun, with the action revenge drama telling the story of Manager Kim, a seemingly ordinary dad with a secret past who puts everything on the line to save his beloved daughter.

The newly released stills bring a refreshing dose of comedy to the action-packed premise. They show Manager Kim, who works as an ordinary employee at a small savings bank but is actually a former agent deployed on countless special operations, heading into a department store alongside his mysterious co-worker Sang Ah, played by Son Naeun.

The contrast between the two is already comedy gold. Manager Kim’s fashion choices fully reflect his inflexible personality, while Sang Ah showcases her trendsetter side, sparking curiosity about the dynamic they’ll create together. And once the shopping actually begins? As Sang Ah sets out to grab the latest trendy fashion items, Manager Kim appears completely bewildered by the store opening shopping frenzy rush — an experience he’s encountering for the first time, looking thoroughly flustered by the items Sang Ah confidently picks out while volunteering as his “supporter”.

The production team seems just as excited about this side of the show, noting that the department store scene highlights the lived-in acting from both So Ji Sub and Son Naeun, and that the drama is filled with a wide range of charms beyond its exhilarating action. soompi
