Wiccan Marvel Agatha All Along: Kathryn Hahn Returns for 9 Episodes of a WandaVision Sequel Series

Wiccan Marvel Agatha All Along All You Need To Know

Almost four years have passed since we first witnessed Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff mesmerize a whole community in WandaVision., and now, the Marvel universe is pulling us back into its magical chaos with a new chapter. Agatha All Along, the first major Marvel live-action TV release of 2024, picks up where WandaVision left off, but this time, it shines the spotlight on the mischievous and fan-favorite villain, Agatha Harkness, played by the ever-charming Kathryn Hahn.

This series marks the return of WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer, who continues the story of magic and mayhem, though the focus has shifted from Wanda and Vision (Paul Bettany) to Agatha. Last time we saw Agatha, she had been outsmarted by Wanda and left under a mind-wipe spell, believing herself to be the nosy neighbor she pretended to be throughout much of the series. Now, Agatha All Along takes us back to see what life is like for the purple-powered witch, as she unknowingly lives out her days in a drama reminiscent of Mare of Easttown.

At first, it seems like the spell is holding strong, with Agatha fully immersed in her fabricated life. But it doesn’t take long before things start to unravel. Agatha begins noticing strange TV tropes and clichés creeping into her world—early signs that her magical prison is starting to break. As the spell weakens, Agatha embarks on a whole new journey, one that drags her deeper into the mystical world of Marvel.

Along the way, she encounters an even darker, more sinister witch, portrayed by the brilliant Aubrey Plaza, and the infamous Darkhold, the cursed book of dark magic last seen corrupting Wanda in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Agatha All Along promises the same mix of humor, mystery, and magic that made WandaVision such a hit. Each episode is packed with laugh-out-loud moments, but also invites viewers to second-guess everything they see—much like the fan theories that swirled around WandaVision. While Agatha may not stir quite the same level of frenzy, it’s clear that Marvel is aiming to deliver another entertaining, mind-bending show.
