Fans of Allu Arjun have a fresh reason to stay glued to their screens. Ahead of his next big outing, buzz is building around his highly anticipated project with ace director Lokesh Kanagaraj, tentatively titled AA23 (LK07), and a sneak peek from the sets might land sooner than expected.
What’s the Buzz About
Reports suggest the makers are gearing up to drop a behind-the-scenes video capturing Allu Arjun’s recent look test for the film. Lokesh Kanagaraj reportedly supervised the session himself, and the footage is expected to surface in the coming days. Importantly, this clip is said to be a promotional glimpse rather than the film’s official title-announcement teaser, giving fans an early, unfiltered look at what’s cooking.
The announcement teaser had already shown Allu Arjun sporting the signature silver kada often seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s films, hinting at a bold, Western-tinged action aesthetic. Adding to the excitement, Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, marking his first-ever collaboration with the star, while the “23 Theme” penned by Heisenberg has already created a stir online. Reports also point to Pooja Hegde possibly joining as the leading lady, reuniting with Allu Arjun after DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

Why It Matters
Co-writer Rathna Kumar recently called AA23 “a proper pan-Indian film,” underlining its expected wide-reaching appeal. With Allu Arjun’s massive fan base and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s proven action-thriller pedigree, this collaboration is already one of the most talked-about projects in Indian cinema.
Meanwhile, the actor’s immediate focus remains on Raaka, a VFX-heavy entertainer directed by Atlee, where he reportedly plays four distinct characters across parallel universes, alongside Deepika Padukone.
