‘A Shop for Killers’ Season 2, Episodes 5-6: When They Drop and What’s Coming Next

Fans of A Shop for Killers are gearing up for the next chapter of Jeong Ji-an and Jeong Jin-man’s war against the ruthless Babylon organization. Episodes 5 and 6 arrive on August 5, 2026, continuing the series’ pattern of dropping two episodes together every Wednesday.

Based on Kang Ji-young’s novel The Killer’s Shopping Mall, the Korean action-thriller stars Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun, following a niece and uncle duo running a secret weapons marketplace while battling a dangerous international mercenary organization.

A Shop for Killers S2: Overview

Catching Up: Where Episodes 3-4 Left Off

Episodes 3 and 4, released July 22, saw Babylon sending forces from Japan and China to South Korea in an attempt to capture Ji-an and use her as leverage against her uncle. Meanwhile, Ji-an discovered that her ally Woo-jin has been secretly transporting weapons for Jin-man’s organization, prompting the two to open up about the dangerous secrets they both carry. Babylon, for its part, appointed the skilled Japanese assassin Q to lead the mission against Ji-an — though Q herself has begun questioning the organization’s motives.

What to Expect in Episodes 5 & 6

With Ji-an finally reunited with Jin-man, the upcoming episodes are expected to focus on the aftermath of their coastal confrontation with Babylon’s forces and the next stage of their counterattack. Promotional material has already teased that Jin-man and Ji-an will team up with the Murthehelp crew to take the fight directly to Babylon’s doorstep, rather than continuing to play defense.

Where the Season Is Headed

Season 2 has expanded its scope significantly compared to Season 1, introducing Babylon’s East Asia mercenary division and filming across international locations, including Bangkok, to reflect the story’s larger global stakes. With only two episodes remaining after this release, the back half of the season looks poised to deliver a decisive showdown between Murthehelp and Babylon.
