Some love stories aren’t about falling in love for the first time — they’re about whether you can fall for the same person all over again. That’s the emotional core of KBS‘s upcoming drama A Love Other Than Yours, and its newly released highlight video makes it clear this won’t be your typical romance.

The show follows Namgoong Ho (Seo Kang Jun) and Lee Mi Do (Ahn Eun Jin), a couple who met as seven-year-olds, grew into best friends, and have now spent a full decade together as partners. But comfort and familiarity come with their own quiet dangers — and the new clip suggests their relationship is about to be tested in ways neither of them expected.

Why This Drama Feels Different

What makes A Love Other Than Yours stand out is its refusal to romanticize comfort. Namgoong Ho describes Lee Mi Do as the person who saved him when he “had already died inside” as a child — a line that captures just how deep their bond runs. But the show doesn’t shy away from showing how outside perceptions and personal insecurities can quietly erode even the strongest relationships.

The introduction of Han Tae Seung and Park Soo Ah adds real tension rather than a simple love triangle gimmick — both new characters clash with their respective love interests before curiosity turns into something more complicated. By the end of the clip, both leads seem drawn back to each other, with Lee Mi Do’s confession, “I want to fall for you again,” setting up a compelling emotional question heading into the premiere.
