Job hunting is stressful enough without a top star landing in your lap. That’s the setup of One of a Kind Romance, a webtoon-based drama that just unveiled a four-lead poster. It hints at a sweet romance with a tangled love rectangle.

One of a Kind Romance : Overview

Detail	Info
Premiere	November 9
Episodes	12
Source	Webtoon
Genre	Romance
Leads	Joy (Red Velvet), Kim Hyun Jin, Shin Hyun Soo, Kang Na Eon

The Story

Gong Yu Il (Joy) is an ordinary woman on the job hunt who unexpectedly becomes the manager of Tak Mu I (Kim Hyun Jin), a top star hiding emotional scars from a stalking incident. Yu Il dreams of an ordinary life. Mu I found the strength to keep going through a novel she wrote years ago. They meet by chance and gradually build a sweet, heartfelt relationship. You can read more about Joy’s group on Red Velvet’s Wikipedia page.

The Love Rectangle

Two more characters change the picture:

Kang Hee Soo (Shin Hyun Soo): A star chef.
Joo Da Hong (Kang Na Eon): An actress.

Their involvement with the central pair sets up a tangled four-way romance.

What the Poster Shows?

The four leads stand shoulder to shoulder in a studio with lights and cameras.

Tak Mu I looks confident, like a star in his 19th year since debut, with a composed gaze and striking physique.
Kang Hee Soo and Joo Da Hong strike poses that reflect their personalities.
Gong Yu Il is the only one who isn’t a public figure. She wears an awkward smile and holds a book, hinting at her past dream of becoming a writer.

Details like the book matter in this story, since a novel is what carried Tak Mu I through a hard time.

What the Team Promises?

The production team says the journey of Yu Il and Mu I, and the heart-fluttering moments when the chef and actress get involved, will stir “a soft, gentle excitement.” All four characters express their feelings with sincerity and openness, so expect warmth over melodrama.
