Money, mystery, and a smile smeared with blood — SBS’s “Flex x Cop 2” just dropped its second teaser, and it’s raising more questions than answers ahead of its August premiere.
What the Teaser Shows
Ahn Bo Hyun returns as Jin Yi Soo, the chaebol-heir-turned-detective who treats his wealth like a cheat code, alongside Jung Eun Chae as his new partner, veteran detective Joo Hye Ra. The teaser opens light-hearted, with the pair’s Violent Crimes Unit boarding Jin Yi Soo’s private jet — when Hye Ra needles him with “Must be nice being rich?” he simply replies, “Can’t complain.” Their bickering, contrasting-personalities dynamic carries through high-speed chases and complex cases throughout the season.
Then the tone shifts. Yoo Seung Ho enters as the mysterious Yoo Sung Won, first warmly embracing Jin Yi Soo — before appearing moments later with blood on his face and an unsettling grin, while Hye Ra watches him with a loaded, suspicious stare. His true identity is clearly set up as one of the season’s biggest mysteries.

Why Fans Are Hooked
The original “Flex x Cop” built its appeal on blending lavish wealth-flexing comedy with genuine crime-thriller stakes, and this teaser suggests season two is raising the tension considerably. Yoo Seung Ho’s dual reveal — warmth followed instantly by menace — is a classic setup for the kind of twist-driven storytelling common in the crime drama genre, where a trusted face often hides the biggest secret.
