Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane wants to see Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric get their new contract as soon as possible which will make the duo stay at the club for some more years.
Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric, both are the key members of Zinedine Zidane’s squad. Their presence in the game and experience is always fruitful for Real Madrid. Their contract will end in 2021 with Real Madrid. They are now allowed to sign a pre-contract with any club. But Zidane wants to make them stay and asked the Real Madrid board to solve the matter soon.
Before the game against Celta Vigo, Zidane told the press, “I want the contractual situations of our players sorted out as soon as possible.”
“It is in the best interests of everyone.”
“For myself, I’m lucky to be Madrid’s coach. I can’t say how long I’ll be here.”
“That’s why I live in the present with this club and I’ll give my all in training and in games for as long as I’m here.”
Italian reported Fabrizio Romano also confirmed that Real Madrid is considering to offer a new contract to the duo.
Zidane was also asked some of the transfer rumors related to Real Madrid. In response, he said, “I’m only thinking about my players who are here.”
“I have enough on my plate thinking about my own players never mind anyone else’s players!”
“We already have a large squad and have more than enough for our game this weekend. There’s nothing more to say.”- he added.
