Vivo X Fold 5 Appears on Global Certification Sites, Key Specs Like 90W Charging and Display Revealed

A Vivo phone with model number V2507A has been seen in the 3C certification database of China, and it is speculated to be the Vivo X Fold 5 for China. The rumored X Fold 5 was listed in the 3C certification as supporting a 90W charger, fueling speculation that it may launch in China this July. The screenshots confirm that the smartphone carries a model number of V2429, and it has received approval from certified agencies of Singapore, such as IMDA and Malaysia’s SIRIM certification.

Though the device name and specs are nowhere to be found in the IMDA listing, the SIRIM certification reveals that it’s the Vivo X Fold 5 that’s gearing up to be unveiled. Which means that probably the V2429 is the global model of the X Fold 5. According to a recent report, the Vivo X Fold 5 will feature an 8.03-inch 2K+ 120Hz AMOLED inner display and a 6.53-inch FHD+ 120Hz LTPO AMOLED cover screen.

It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and feature a triple 50-megapixel camera setup, including a Sony IMX921 main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and an IMX882 sensor with 3x optical zoom, all with Zeiss optics, plus a 32-megapixel front camera. The phone will come with a 6,000mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 30W wireless charging. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IPX8 water resistance, and a thickness of 4.33mm when unfolded.
