Xiaomi Watch S4 15th Anniversary Edition Launches with XRING T1 Chip

Along with the Xiaomi 15S Pro, Xiaomi has introduced the Watch S4 15th Anniversary Edition, a special model powered by the company’s proprietary XRING T1 4G chipset. This chip reduces standby power usage by 66% and is equipped with a video codec module capable of dynamic video watch faces, along with remote photo capture or live preview functions.

For the anniversary model, the bezel design comes in the form of forged carbon that is printed with the “XRING INSIDE” logo, together with a Viton woven strap and a cover of dragon crystal glass, sitting atop its 1.43-inch round AMOLED display. It even comes with a special Xiaomi Auto App to enable car control through the watch and comes with its own car-related watch face.

Thanks to Xiaomi’s in-house chipset, the Watch S4 15th Anniversary Edition delivers a remarkable battery life of up to nine days in typical eSIM use, a significant improvement over the three days offered by the regular version released last year. Apart from these upgrades, the rest of the features remain consistent with the standard model.

The watch comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 and brightness of up to 2200 nits and is shielded by Dragon Crystal Glass. It comes with Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and has an XRING T1 4G chip with a CPU max frequency of 500MHz and support for 4G VoLTE. It supports video watch faces and photo previews. The sensors consist of heart rate, blood oxygen, acceleration, gyroscope, geomagnetic, air pressure, and ambient light. The watch comes with more than 150 sports modes, and health-tracking features like women’s health, fall detection, stress training, breath training, sleep, and HR monitoring. It’s also water-resistant to 5ATM.

The build includes an aluminum alloy body with a stainless steel and forged carbon bezel, and a dual-band GPS system compatible with L1+L5 frequencies. Connectivity options encompass eSIM, 4G/3G networks, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.2. The 486mAh battery ensures up to nine days of usage with eSIM. The Xiaomi Watch S4 15th Anniversary Edition is available in Green Flame and Black colors, priced at CNY 1299, which is approximately ₹15,505, and it is currently on sale in China.
