Vivo Watch 6 Teaser Confirms Titanium Body and Sapphire Crystal Glass Ahead of September 21 Reveal

Vivo has confirmed its next smartwatch, the Vivo Watch 6, will debut in China on September 21, 2026 alongside the Vivo X500 series, and teaser images reveal a noticeably more premium build than previous models.

Vivo Watch 6: Titanium Build and Sapphire Crystal Glass

The headline upgrade is the case material: Vivo is using TC4 aerospace-grade titanium alloy for the Watch 6’s body, paired with sapphire crystal glass for display protection. Vivo describes it as an “ultra-thin body for all-day comfort,” and early teasers suggest a case size around 43mm, though the company hasn’t officially confirmed exact dimensions or weight.

Software and Fitness Features

The Watch 6 runs Vivo’s BlueOS out of the box and adds advanced running and cycling guidance on top of the brand’s existing fitness-tracking suite. Vivo hasn’t detailed battery capacity, sensors, water resistance, or pricing yet — those specifics are expected to arrive alongside the full reveal.

Launching Alongside the Vivo X500 Series

Vivo is positioning the Watch 6 as part of a broader ecosystem push rather than a standalone device, launching it together with the Vivo Buds Clip earphones at the same September 21 event that introduces the Vivo X500 Pro and its siblings. That timing mirrors how Vivo rolled out design refreshes across the X500e in recent leaks, tying the whole X500 family together as one coordinated launch.

What This Means for Buyers

A titanium-and-sapphire build is typically reserved for a brand’s most premium wearable tier, suggesting Vivo is positioning the Watch 6 well above its earlier models on price and materials. Indian availability hasn’t been confirmed, but Vivo has generally brought its flagship-adjacent wearables to India within a few months of a China launch.
