Realme Neo 7 Teased Ahead of December 11 Launch with 7000mAh Battery and IP69 Waterproof Rating

In its most recent teaser, the device is shown getting IP69 and IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance, making it one of the toughest phones in its class. The device is also said to be resistant to exposure to hot water, submersion up to 2 meters for 30 minutes, and high-pressure water flushing which is useful for users working in rugged and outdoor environments.

In terms of design, Realme has gone for a bold approach. The Neo7 is said to come with a “star step” design camera module on the back, achieved through precise metal processing. The flat screen, upright middle frame, and geometric chamfered back panel lines come together to give the phone a modern and sophisticated look which is referred to as “starship space.” The Neo7 features a Titan Battery of 7000mAh, offering massive battery life all within an impressive 8.5mm thickness. That’s still 1500mAh of battery capacity larger than what the Realme GT Neo 6 predecessor offered, and it’s thinner compared to it.

As for the display, Neo7 features a 6.78-inch BOE customized S2 flat screen, and 6000 nits high brightness to enhance visibility under sunlight. It comes with a 2780×1264 resolution which also supports full-brightness DC dimming on the hardware level. For photography, you get a 50-megapixel Sony OIS main camera, an 8-megapixel lens, and a 16-megapixel front camera for sharp selfies.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset under the hood ensures the Neo7 doesn’t struggle with gaming, multitasking, or other demanding apps. It also features dual-band GPS, triple-band Beidou, infrared, NFC, linear motor, stereo dual speakers, etc. Pricing for the Realme Neo7 starts at ≤2499 yuan, and it will be available in the popular (Starship Edition, Meteorite Black, Submarine) colors. With its robust battery, waterproof features, and sleek design, the Neo7 is shaping up to be a solid option for users looking for a durable, high-performance smartphone.
