Real-World Performance

When it comes to performance, the ASUS 65W GaN Charger delivers as promised. I tested it with several devices, including an iPhone 13, OnePlus Pad, OnePlus 12, and ASUS Vivobook Flip 14. The charger consistently hit peak performance, delivering 65W when supported by the device, and it handled multiple devices with ease, thanks to its smart load balancing feature.

One area where many GaN chargers falter is MacBook charging, but I’m happy to report that this charger powered my MacBook Pro reliably, making it a viable replacement for the bulky 100W Apple adapter. Heating was minimal, even during extended charging sessions. Also, the charger could charge my OnePlus Pad tablet easily with fast charging speeds.

Durability

ASUS has ensured that this charger is built to last. It has passed a 3000-cycle cable bend test and a 10,000-cycle insert-and-remove test, proving its durability over time.
