On the official Infinix website, the Infinix Note 40s, the company’s most recent Note 40 series, was unexpectedly revealed. The newest model will be available with the Note40, Note 40 Pro, and Note 40 Pro+.
Infinix Note 40s specifications and features
Additionally, the Obsidian Black and Vintage Green color options for the Infinix Note 40S 4G are confirmed by the official website. Still, no information about the smartphone’s price or launch date is provided.
The Infinix Note 40S 4G will come with a 3D curved 6.78-inch Full-HD+ (1,080×2,436 pixels) LTPS AMOLED screen that has a brightness of 550 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will also offer an unnamed kind of Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
On the corporate website (via PassionateGeekz), it is stated that the forthcoming Note 40S 4G design would resemble the Infinix Note 40 5G and Note 40 Pro 5G series that were released in India in March. The elevated metallic island that accommodates the rear cameras and the Halo AI lighting ring, which notifies users of smartphone notifications and charge levels, are examples of this.
It is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery, which is more capacious than the Pro+ variant. It is significant to note that the Pro+ model has 100W charging technology, whereas the charging speed is just 33W. This compromise can mean longer charging times, but the extended battery life might be quite helpful for folks who are always on the go.
Along with receiving two years of OS upgrades and three years of security patches, the Infinix Note 40S 4G is verified to run Android 14—with the company’s XOS 14 layer on top.
In contrast to the other Note 40 versions, the Infinix Note 40S 4G has just two rear cameras. A 2-megapixel macro camera is mounted beside the 108-megapixel primary camera sensor. A 32-megapixel selfie camera is located on the front.
The phone’s resistance to dust and splashes is rated IP54. JBL-tuned twin speakers are installed on the phone. Let’s wait for the official launch of this smartphone as its availability and pricing is not yet disclosed.
