Apple’s iPad Air 4 has now started shipping and people are going crazy to get their hands-on with their new powerful mid-range iPad. The main USP of this new iPad is obviously the new design, similar to the iPad Pro and the new A14 Bionic chip inside it.
This is the industry’s first 5nm process based chip that is said to give incredible performance and efficiency. At its $599 pricing, this is an incredible deal for people who are looking for powerful computing but aren’t willing to spend much. The evolution of the iPadOS has helped people to make their iPads a fully-fledged computer.
So, as now its availability has started so has its benchmarks started to surface on the internet and our reliable Apple tipster KOMIYA has already given some numbers of the new iPad Air 4:
With just 4GB of RAM, the iPad Air 4 has managed to grab a whopping 621,703 points on AnTuTu whereas, in Geekbench 5, the single-core score is amazing – a massive 1591 points also grabbing a healthy 4213 points in multi-core tests. In the coming days, we can get better results as well.
The Apple iPad Air 4’s closest competitor at the pricing is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and if we compare this score to the Samsung flagship tablet then things look like this:
AnTuTu Score: 605,000 points, Geekbench 5 Score: Single-core – 969 points & Multicore – 2984 points. This pretty much shows how much Qualcomm’s last flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC is behind to the that of the A14 Bionic, however, the competition looks to heat up in 2021.
