The leaked image gives fans a rough idea of what the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro will look like. So, official-looking renders and specifications of the Vivo V40 have surfaced seeming to expose critical and new architecture openings.

Vivo V40

The All New Vivo V40

The Vivo V40 looks different from the V30 before it. The back is dominated by the huge oval camera module with smaller circular housings for dual camera sensors, prominently branded with Zeiss. Below this is another oval cutout which is believed to house Vivo’s Aura light and possibly a second sensor of some kind, although its purpose is unknown. The renders display the device in a pair of colors purple and grey/silver.

The front of the Vivo V40 retains the curved-edge display, minimal bezels, and centered punch-hole cutout seen on the V30, maintaining a sleek and modern look.

In terms of specifications, the device is rumored to boast a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Unlike the original V30, it is anticipated to be fueled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. The camera setup is expected to resemble what we see on the V30, with a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP selfie snapper.

But overall an all-UFC event remains an attractive package to a PPV vendor, so the UFC will want to feature one every month for the foreseeable future. Now, the Vivo V40 is believed to be packing a 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging, an improvement over the V30’s 5,000mAh cell. The usual connectivity options are presented, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C.

On the software front, the Vivo V40 is expected to run on the latest Android 14 operating system right out of the box. Additionally, it is anticipated to have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, ensuring durability and reliability in various conditions. Overall, the Vivo V40 is set to offer a blend of advanced features and a fresh design, making it a significant upgrade over its predecessor.
