After the launch of the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, there’s talk that Vivo might be getting ready to unveil the Ultra version of their flagship series although details are still scarce. Recent rumors hinted at an introduction of the rumored Vivo X100 Ultra, in China this April. However, a recent update from a trusted source Digital Chat Station now suggests that the phone’s release has been delayed.
The Upcoming Vivo X100 Ultra
Although specific information about the Vivo X100 Ultra remains unknown Digital Chat Station mentioned that its launch is now expected no earlier than May in China. Initially, the smartphone was expected to hit shelves in April.
While official details about the Vivo X100 Ultra are limited numerous leaks and speculations have emerged online recently. According to these sources, some anticipated specs of the X100 Ultra include a Samsung E7 AMOLED 2K display (exact size not specified) a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and a quad camera setup, with a camera of 50MP Sony LYT 900. Additionally, it is speculated that the device will come with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 100W wired charging and 50W charging capabilities.
The Ultra model is believed to be positioned above the variant that was launched in India in January which could potentially mean it will be priced higher. Furthermore, there is some uncertainty regarding what it will be called as it may be known as the Vivo X100 Pro+ in some areas. Meanwhile, Vivo is gearing up to unveil the V30 series for Indian consumers on March 7th. Rumors suggest that the base model of the Vivo V30 could be priced around ₹40,000, offering 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The Vivo V30 Pro is speculated to start at ₹45,000 for the base model, which also includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
