The upcoming release of Nothing Phone 2a, in India scheduled for March 5 has come with a reveal of its design and processor details prior to its debut. The promotional materials consistently showcase the phone in white though leaks hint at a color choice along with details on storage capacity, camera specifications, and battery performance. CEO Carl Pei has confirmed the estimated price range for the phone in India. Also mentioned are plans for a flash sale in global locations.
The All New Nothing Phone 2a
In a video shared by Nothing India on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Carl Pei is seen engaging with individuals in Mumbai discussing their smartphone preferences and presenting the Nothing Phone 2a. Towards the conclusion of the video Pei shares that the phone will be priced around ₹25,000 in India and assures that units sold in India will be locally produced.
Moreover, Nothing has introduced the #THE100 Drops flash sale promotion providing a package featuring the Phone 2a in cities worldwide. Each location will have 100 models of Phone 2a on a come-first-served basis along with a personalized Phone 2a case and other additional perks. The flash sale for Nothing Phone 2a in India is set to kick off on March 6 following its launch day starting at 5 pm IST in Delhi.
The sale will take place at Select City Walk Mall, in New Delhi followed by flash sales, in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Mumbai on March 7, March 8, and March 9 respectively. Details for each location are provided on the company’s website. Outside of India, flash sales are also confirmed in cities such as Dubai, London, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok.
Specifications for the Nothing Phone 2a include a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC, dual rear cameras with two 50-megapixel sensors, a 32-megapixel front camera, 12GB of RAM (expandable to 8GB virtual RAM), Android 14-based NothingOS 2.5, a 6.7-inch 120Hz full-HD+ OLED display, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support. Apart from the white color option, it is expected to launch in black as well.
