Earlier this month, OPPO, the renowned Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, introduced its latest Find X7 series, which includes the vanilla Find X7 and the Find X7 Ultra models. In an exciting development, the company has officially confirmed that several advanced camera features from these cutting-edge flagships will soon be extended to other high-end devices, including the recently unveiled OnePlus 12, the preceding Find X6 series, and the innovative 2023 foldable device, the Find N3.
All About the OPPO x OnePlus Camera Upgrade
OPPO has outlined its strategic initiative to incorporate specific camera enhancements from the Find X7 series into a select range of flagship smartphones. The devices slated to benefit from these camera upgrades include the OnePlus 12, Find X6, Find X6 Pro, and the Find N3 smartphones.
Among the noteworthy features earmarked for integration are the Master Mode, allowing photographers to produce images with Hasselblad professional color grading. The XPAN mode enhances creative compositions by providing additional focal lengths, while improved lens focal length switching settings enable users to seamlessly switch between commonly used focal lengths.
The addition of a new zoom function facilitates smooth and convenient zooming during video recording. Moreover, there is an enhanced shutter response speed for quicker and more precise shutter releases, along with optimized capture rates for burst shooting to reduce the likelihood of missed shots.
In terms of the rollout schedule, OPPO has disclosed that the Find X6 series and OnePlus 12 devices are set to receive the camera upgrades starting from February 2024, with the complete rollout expected to conclude before the 27th of April 2024.
Subsequently, the update will be extended to the Find N3 smartphone in March 2024, and the entire rollout process is projected to be finalized before the 28th of June 2024. This strategic move by OPPO underscores its commitment to providing users of various flagship devices with an enriched and consistent photography experience.
