OnePlus N6x Trolls Apple’s New iPhone Colours With a Cheeky Nod to Its Own Burgundy Red

Rivalries in the smartphone world don’t always play out in spec sheets — sometimes they play out in memes. OnePlus India just proved that with a witty social media jab aimed straight at Apple.

OnePlus N6x Cheeky Callout

A day after Apple unveiled its new iPhone colour lineup, OnePlus India took to social media with a playful dig: “Oh, we know that color.” The reference wasn’t subtle — it pointed straight at the OnePlus N6x Burgundy Red, a shade OnePlus had already introduced months earlier. It’s a classic case of a brand using a rival’s big launch moment to remind everyone it got there first, and the internet loved the confidence.

Meet the OnePlus N6x Burgundy Red

The OnePlus N6x in Burgundy Red launched in India on July 31, 2026, priced at just ₹19,999, making it a strong budget contender in a market full of premium price tags. Whether you’re drawn to the bold colourway or the practical hardware underneath, this phone was clearly built to compete on value.

Why This Matters?

This isn’t just a marketing flex — it’s a smart move in a market where consumers increasingly care about personality, not just performance. OnePlus, a brand under the BBK Electronics umbrella, has built a loyal following by mixing affordability with bold design choices, and moments like this keep that identity front and center.

If you’re considering the N6x, it’s currently available on both Amazon India and Flipkart, with the 64GB and 128GB variants catering to different budgets and storage needs.
