The model number A142 of an impending Nothing Phone was hinted at by a tipster on X, the former Twitter, a few days ago. The phone, among other things, appears to have been listed on India’s BIS recently, indicating an impending launch there.
New Nothing Phone could be Nothing Phone 2a or 3 details
With model codes of “A142” and “NT03,” respectively, the two Nothing products are mentioned in the BIS database; it is likely that the battery is for the smartphone. Notably, the two phones’ batteries (NT01 and NT02, respectively) can be seen in the second tablet, as can the Nothing Phones (1) (A063) and (2) (AIN065) in the first table.
The listing of the smartphone’s battery and actual model on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website suggests that the Phone (2a) debut is likely much closer than we had anticipated. Based on the time interval between Phone(1) and Phone(2)’s launches and listings, we’ve estimated that Phone (2a) might launch toward the end of Q1 2024 or at the beginning of Q1 2024. It is also possible that Nothing Phone (3) will arrive later or a few months earlier in order to capitalize on Phone (2a) sales.
