CMF Speaker M and Speaker S Launched: IP68, Bluetooth 6.0 and Prices From About Rs 5,640

Sound Features

Both speakers offer Stereo Mode, which pairs two identical units as left and right channels, and Party Mode, which links many speakers through Auracast, including some models from other brands. Ultra Bass can be switched on or off, Wide Soundstage gives a broader sense of space, and Adaptive Tuning changes the EQ automatically based on the music type. Custom presets include Balanced, More Bass, More Treble and Voice, with fine-tuning.

Design and Durability

The upright design is inspired by a milk carton. Colours are white, dark grey, orange and turquoise. A notable idea is the removable front panel and volume knobs, which come off with an unlock switch on the back, and CMF provides a guide for 3D-printing replacement parts. The IP68 rating covers dust and water, including submersion up to 1.5m for up to 30 minutes.

Battery and Night Mode

CMF claims up to 18 hours of playback at 50% volume with Ultra Bass on. A full charge takes around three hours, and a ten-minute top-up gives up to an hour. A Night Mode lowers energy use and bass output and caps loudness at roughly 60% of Standard Mode, useful late in the evening.

Connectivity

The speakers use Bluetooth 6.0 with a range of more than 100 metres, plus NFC tap-to-pair. USB-C supports lossless audio with latency below 60ms, and dual-device connectivity lets two Bluetooth sources connect at once. Fast Pair works with compatible Nothing, Google and Windows devices.

Availability

The speakers are listed as available now in white, dark grey, turquoise and orange through nothing.tech and select retail partners. Indian buyers should check the Nothing India site for local pricing and stock, since rupee prices were given as approximate conversions.

What Is Not Confirmed

The source does not give Indian prices, Indian retail partners, battery capacity in mAh or the weight of each speaker. Claims such as 18 hours and Bluetooth range are from the company and depend on use. Learn about the brand on Wikipedia.
