The launch of Origin OS 4, which is based on Android 14, at the vivo Developer Conference. Sadly, there are no plans to release it for phones outside of China, despite the fact that it has a ton of new features, a redesigned user interface, and performance enhancements.
iQOO Origin OS 4 features and overview
It is reported that the shipments will begin on November 18. Many other iQOO devices are in line to receive the OriginOS 4 update in China, and the two newest smartphones in the iQOO 12 series will be arriving with the OriginOS 4 custom skin, which is based on the Android 14 operating system.

Performance gains include quicker app responsiveness, made possible by a “virtual graphics card”. App opening and closing times are shortened by 36%, while frame rate stability is increased by 70%.
To enhance visual comfort, more than 2,000 icons have been changed. Together with UI Interactions featuring contextual wallpapers, lock screen customizations, and real-time blurring effects, the business added a special vivo Sans font to the entire system.
In terms of performance, the custom skin includes several elements that help to improve speed, including a heterogeneous processing environment, Unfair Scheduling 2.0, Memory Fusion 4.0, and a virtual graphics card. Integration of AI is important as well.
Additional noteworthy features are the Family Health Manager, Full Link Conference Assistant, Vivo Office Suite, Off-library travel optimization, Trip Planning Assistant, and Full Link Parking Assistant.
By year’s end, Vivo’s OriginOS 4 distribution to current devices will start. The X Fold2, X Flip, X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+—as well as the iQOO 11, iQOO 11S, and iQOO 11 Pro—that are based in China and lack Android will be the initial smartphones. Pre-installed will be it on the next vivo X100 and iQOO 12 series.
