Redmi G Gaming Laptop with up to Core i7-10750H & GTX 1650 Ti launched, starts at 5,299 yuan

So, finally Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has finally launched the heavily teased Redmi G Gaming Laptop with the latest Intel Comet Lake-H processors and NVIDIA graphics in China. The gaming laptop starts at 5,299 yuan ($763 or Rs. 57,089) and will be available starting from August 17th.

The Redmi G Gaming Laptop features a 16.1-inch FHD LCD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a 100% sRGB color gamut & 81% screen-to-body ratio. The display features a 178° viewing angle with a peak brightness of 300 nits along with the anti-glare coating. You get 144Hz refresh rate options with the mid and high-end variants along with 60Hz refresh rate options for the base variant.

So, there will be three variants of the gaming laptop –

For cooling, the laptop comes with dual internal fans, dual-side air inlets, and four air outlets for better airflow along with a Hurricane Cooling 2.0 cooling system with dual-fan giving 87% better performance. Also, there’s a 720p webcam at the chin of the display and for audio there are 2 x 2W speakers with DTS:X Ultra 3D Sound.

When it comes to ports, the laptop features a Gigabit Ethernet Port, 1 x USB 2.0, 2 x USB 3.0 Gen2, 1 x USB Type-C, 1 x Mini DP 1.4, an HDMI 2.0 and a 3.5mm Headphone Jack. The Redmi G Gaming Laptop features a full-size three-level adjustable white backlit keyboard with 1.5mm key travel, however, has a small 55Wh battery with 180W fast charging support.

This new gaming laptop has been priced on a budget side as it starts at 5,299 yuan ($763 or Rs. 57,089) only for the base variant with Core i5-10200H, while the mid variant with Core i5-10300H costs just 5799 yuan ($834 or Rs. 62,455) and the high-end Core i7-10750H powered variant will cost you 6599 yuan ($949 or Rs. 71,070). Overall, Redmi aka Xiaomi has made a nice budget laptop with good specs and in China, the Redmi G Gaming Laptop will go on sale in China from August 17th onwards.
