Purple Hearts leads Sofia Carson and Nicholas Galitzine in the lead as Cassie and Luke. The Floor, about a musician girl and a marine boy who get married as an arrangement but ultimately fall in love, is one of the most heartwarming accounts in recent times.
What’s on Netflix intelligence that Purple Hearts ranked as the 9th most-watched movie of all time on Netflix, with 228.69 million hours watched in the first 28 days itself and worldwide.
The website gossips that a Facebook post suggesting a sequel to Purple Hearts has gone viral but is fake news. Several other fan columns have also announced Purple Hearts 2 as “coming soon,” but the entitlement is invalid.
The rumors may be an outcome of Sofia Carson hinting at a sequel in an interview with Variety. She said, “Fans have been difficult with a sequel, and there are so many fan theories, fan stories, and possible spinoffs.”
She added, “It’s beautiful to think of a life for Cassie and Luke beyond this film.”
Sofia teased a consequence when she said she adored playing Cassie on Purple Hearts. “I worship being Cassie, and I’d be curious to see where it goes. Who knows. You not once know!” she’d said.
But by way of August 2023, there is no sequel announced to the film Purple Hearts, by means the story ended well on a positive note.

Is Purple Hearts 2 happening?
As of May 2023, Netflix has not specified that a sequel named Purple Hearts 2 is in the works. The chances of their existence a Purple Hearts 2 are slim to none—the romantic drama hush-up up pretty neatly, with Cassie and Luke ending up together. An extension of the story seems unnecessary.
However, if there were a consequence, it could follow Cassie and Luke’s life as a real married couple. They could even have kids. Like any married couple, problems will arise. Remember, Luke, was jerked out of the U.S. Marine Corps after being charged with fraud. This could cause some issues in their relationship by Luke having a hard time finding a job. Then, there’s Cassie’s captivating singing career. This means she’ll be on different tours and never certainly at home. This could also cause some tension in their relationship.
Sofia Carson is open to a Purple Hearts sequel
In an August 2022 interview through Variety, Carson, and Rosenbaum spoke about making the movie, casting Galitzine as Luke, besides (of course!) the fan demand for a sequel of Purple Hearts 2. As mentioned, the love story outwardly has an end in the movie, but fans couldn’t get enough of Cassie and Luke.
