Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Part 2: Plot
The story revolves around the concept of Ragnarok, a cataclysmic event in Norse mythology where gods and humans face off in a final battle. In “Record of Ragnarok,” While the protector means gods have decided to destroy the existence of mankind, the Valkyrie Brunhilda has requested the pantheon for the last chance to give humanity to hold the tournament, Ragnarok. The fate of humanity is at stake as the gods decide to hold a series of one-on-one battles against human champions. These champions are chosen from different eras of human history and possess exceptional skills, strength, or historical significance.
Now, things become complicated and humanity must have to win 7 out of the 13 fights against the gods. To provide humanity an even greater chance, the valkyries take risks on their own lives and connect their souls to the humans, providing them the strongest tailored weapon capable of killing gods.
Led by the Valkyries, the divine maidens who oversee the battles, the humans stand up against the gods to prove their worth and fight for the survival of humanity. Each episode introduces a different match, pitting a renowned god against a formidable human champion. These battles showcase not only physical strength but also the characters’ beliefs, ideologies, and personal struggles.
