XO, Kitty Season 2: Expectation
Previously, we have seen that the XO, Kitty season 1 concludes with multiple cliffhangers that are going to be solved in a second season. At first, Kitty confesses to Dae that she has felt for someone else. He is convinced that it’s Min Ho but Kitty says that she has fallen for Yuri. As expected, the pair has broken up but it’s still foggy if that chapter is closed for good or some sacrifices are going to be a part of the show.
Kitty tries to tell Yuri how she feels before she returns to the US but Juliana shows up and things become clear that she’s still with Yuri. The most disappointing fact for Kitty is Yuri and Juliana’s parents have now permitted them to be together. In season 2, we are going to see Kitty will explore her sexuality and end up in a love triangle with Yuri and Juliana.
However, Min Ho sits next to Kitty on her flight home and reveals that he’s in love with her. Oh, and Kitty also comes to know that her mother’s first love was called Simon, which will make the scenario more complicated for the writers in season 2.
As discussing what he desires for Dae in season 2, Minyeong told Teen Vogue: “I would want him to learn how to transform his relationship [with Kitty] from lovers to friends. I think that’s really hard, but if you can do that, you can still keep…the person. That’s not only about just partners; it’s just love again. So I really hope that Dae keeps the love towards Kitty.”
Kitty x Yuri
After arriving in Korea to become closer to her long-distance boyfriend Dae, by the end of the season, Kitty finds that Yuri has feelings for someone else. This way a love triangle has formed.
However, Juliana, the woman Yuri is in love with, interrupts Kitty before she has a chance to confess her feelings for Yuri. After this, Kitty has not confessed her feelings and has boarded her plane back to the US.
After a terrible expulsion from KISS, Kitty decides she will never meet Yuri again, but, little does she aware that Yuri is trying to convince her mother, Jina, to reinstate her. If Kitty is going to reattend KISS then she has to again face Yuri, whom she never wants to be.
Min Ho x Kitty
When Kitty was travelling on her plane, she was surprised to find she was on the same plane as Min Ho. After knowing from Kitty that she and Dae were no longer together, and this is the reason Kitty was returning to America, the young man had nothing to lose and just confessed his own feelings for her.
Who is Simon?
Jina sent the letter that Kitty’s mom, Eve, had written for her to Kitty. After reading the letter, Kitty found the name of the mysterious Simon who is her mother’s potential first love.
As expected Kitty returns to Jina and questions her all about “Simon” and also how Jina and her mother become friends.
