1. Farhana 

RephraseThe film Farhana, directed by Nelson Venkatesan, known for his work in Monster, stars Aishwarya Rajesh. The cast also includes Selvaraghavan, Jithan Ramesh, Anumol, Aishwarya Dutta, and Kitty. The production of the film is being taken care of by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabu, who are associated with Dream Warrior Pictures. The trailer reveals that Farhana tells the story of a middle-class woman facing financial difficulties who finds employment in a call center. While her job allows her to explore certain freedoms, it also presents her with unexpected challenges.

The long-awaited third installment of the Pizza series features Ashwin Kakumanu. Pavithrah Marimuthu, Gaurav Narayan, and Abhishek Shankar are cast in lead roles, while Kaali Venkat and Anupama Kumar play supporting characters. Pizza 3 is directed by debutant director Mohan Govind and produced by CV Kumar under Thirukumaran Entertainment. The horror film narrates the story of the mysterious happenings at a restaurant.

Shanthanu’s Raavana Kottam features Kayal Anandhi as the female lead. The film is directed by Vikram Sugumaran and bankrolled by Kannan Ravi. Kaasethan Kadavulada is a heist comedy film and a modern-day remake of the 1972 Tamil film of the same name. The film stars Shiva, Priya Anand, Yogi Babu, and Karunakaran in the lead roles. Urvashi, Thalaivasal Vijay, CWC Pugazh, Sivvangi Krishnakumar, and Manobala play supporting characters. The film tells the tale of a man who collaborates with two other men to steal money from his stepmother. The film is directed and produced by R. Kannan.  

5. Pichaikkaran 2 

The long-awaited sequel to the 2016 movie Pichaikkaran is ready to hit theatres this summer. Actor-composer Vijay Antony, who plays the lead in the film, is making his directorial debut. The cast also includes Ritika Singh, Kavya Thapar, Joh Vijay, Dev Gill, and Hareesh Paredi. The plot revolves around a businessman named Vijay Gurumoorthy, who is killed by Sathya (Vijay Antony). The film is bankrolled by Vijay Antony Film Corp. The dubbed versions will be simultaneously released in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. 

6. Custody 

Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya is making his debut in the Tamil film industry in the bilingual film Custody. The film is helmed by director Venkat Prabhu, who is making his directorial debut in Telugu. Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, Arvind Swamy, Sarathkumar, and Sampath Raj. The plot revolves around Shiva, a police constable assigned to produce a gangster named Raju, alias Raazu, in court. When Raazu’s rivals attempt to kill him, Shiva and his girlfriend Revathi have no other option but to protect Raazu for 48 hours.  

7. Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir 

Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir is a movie directed by Venkata Krishna Roghanth. The movie’s star cast includes unknown celebs in the main lead roles. The music was composed by Nivas K Prasanna. The film was produced by Esakki Durai
