A third Intel Meteor Lake-P CPU with the new “Core Ultra” moniker has leaked, with a similar core configuration. The Intel Meteor Lake-P CPU, discovered by @InstLatX64 (via Videocardz), has the same core configuration as previously seen, particularly the two Meteor Lake-P samples that we were able to have a good look at during Computex 2023.
Intel Core Ultra 7 1002H is a 14th Generation Meteor Lake-P CPU that will be powering the upcoming laptops
It has six P-cores, eight E-cores, and two E-cores on the computation tile and two E-cores on the SoC tile. There are 16 cores and 22 threads in all. The chip was tested on the RVP (Reference Evaluation Platform) and has a BIOS date of May 8, 2023. The CPU has a base clock of 3.0 GHz, which is quite low but to be anticipated from an early ES SKU.
The Intel Meteor Lake-P samples we saw at Computex 2023 were also running at 3.0 – 3.1 GHz. Even though these are early chips, the maximum boost frequency was 4.2 GHz, and eventual clock rates should be in the 5 GHz area. In addition, two more Intel 14th Gen Meteor Lake-P CPUs, the Core Ultra 7 1003H and the Core Ultra 5 1003H, have been revealed.
The new branding scheme can be seen on all CPUs, which are slated to be released this month, while full details on the Meteor Lake-P architecture, specifications, and platforms are expected to be revealed in August-September. The firm has a new Innovation event planned for September 19th, so we can absolutely expect Pat Gelsinger and his colleagues to eventually announce the 14th Gen CPU family for laptops at this event.
