RisingWings, an independent studio of KRAFTON, Inc., has announced the release of early access test records for its real-time strategy defense mobile game, “Defense Derby”
A total of 19,600 users participated in the early access test, which spanned approximately two weeks. The total playtime reached 81,500 hours, nearly three times higher than the playtime recorded during last year’s global pre-release test. The core play mode, “Derby Mode (PvP),” also experienced increased participation. Throughout the testing phase, the Derby Mode witnessed approximately 381,000 playthroughs, with an average of 21 plays per person, indicating a strong preference for this mode.
Survey responses from early access test participants showed high satisfaction with the game, with an average game satisfaction score of 4.6 out of 5. The majority of users provided positive reviews. The most engaging features of the game, as chosen by users, were “Collecting and upgrading/leveling up Heroes and Units,” followed by “Derby Mode,” “PvE content,” and “Progressing through the Guardian’s Journey.” Additionally, users highlighted the unique and enjoyable aspect of “Scouting Units,” which prompts players to anticipate opponents’ moves and make bold decisions.
