KRAFTON India has officially revealed its eSports roadmap for the first half of 2025, setting the stage for an action-packed year for gamers and eSports enthusiasts across the country. With a ₹4 crore prize pool, flagship tournaments, and initiatives to nurture emerging talent, KRAFTON is doubling down on its commitment to growing the Indian Esports ecosystem.

Flagship Tournaments: BGIS and BMPS 2025

The gaming giant’s 2025 eSports calendar kicks off with two of its most prestigious tournaments:

1. BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES (BGIS) 2025

  • Registrations Open: January 3, 2025
  • Prize Pool: ₹2 Crore
  • LAN Finals: April 2025 in Kolkata

The BGIS 2025 is set to be one of the biggest Esports events of the year, offering aspiring players a chance to showcase their skills on a national stage. This year, the LAN Finals will take place in Kolkata, marking KRAFTON’s continued efforts to bring live Esports experiences to fans across India.

2. BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA PRO SERIES (BMPS) 2025

  • Format: Invite-only tournament
  • Prize Pool: ₹2 Crore

Following BGIS, KRAFTON will host the BMPS 2025, an exclusive tournament featuring India’s top professional teams. With a massive prize pool and intense competition, BMPS promises to be a highlight of the Esports calendar.


Rising Star Program: Empowering Emerging Talent

KRAFTON is taking a significant step toward nurturing the next generation of eSports players and content creators with its Rising Star Program.

What Is the Rising Star Program?

This initiative is designed to provide mentorship and resources to up-and-coming Esports talent. Participants will receive guidance on:

  • Live streaming techniques
  • Social media content strategies
  • Personal branding

Esports College Campus Tour: Expanding Nationwide

Building on its success in previous years, KRAFTON will expand its Esports College Campus Tour in 2025, bringing competitive gaming to more colleges across India.

  • Per College Prize Pool: ₹2 Lakh+
  • Participating Institutions: Premier colleges like IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, and K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering.
