The East Bengal striker Cleiton Silva has proved his incredible worth and has concluded being the top scorer as well as the top receiver of the man of the match award at the end of the Hero ISL 2022-23 league stage. The Brazilian footballer has scored 12 goals in 20 matches which is a better stat than any other players playing in the present campaign of the Indian Super League.
Though East Bengal hasn’t been able to qualify for the next round, as the season hasn’t been on their preferred as, getting them in the 9th position. However, Cleiton Silva’s performance is likely to give the club a huge boost in the next season, and fans are expecting the red yellow army to strike back.

He started his performance against Bengaluru, where he led his team toward victory by a score of 1-0. Then he netted a couple of goals against Jamshedpur and again Bengaluru. Cleiton Silva also scored against Odisha, Kerala Blasters, and North East United; however, their losses didn’t allow them to get the upper hand in the points table, eventually got knocked out.

On the other hand, with the conclusion of the group stage of the Indian Super League, the tournament will move on to the knockouts, with Mumbai City being the table topper. Though ATK Mohun Bagan and Bengaluru aren’t far behind, significant competition remains between Mumbai City and Hyderabad being.
They both have reached the semi-finals, and their respective oppositions are yet to be decided. On the other hand, Bengaluru and ATK Mohun Bagan are going to lock horns with Kerala Blasters and Odisha, respectively.
