realme C55 launch looks imminent: All You Need to Know

Xiaomi is not having a good time now, while realme is not shy to use this opportunity in its favour and it seems to be cooking the realme C55 smartphone in its arsenal. Recently launched the realme 10 Pro Coca-Cola Edition and after that, it will surely bring more budget-centric smartphones which are its biggest target audience of course.

Already clearing BIS certification, the realme C55 has also cleared SIRIM certification and it seems realme is working to make this budget-centric smartphone ready for its fans. Not only that this phone has previously been spotted on Thai NBTC, European EEC and American FCC filings as well, making it increasingly evident of its existence.

This will be the successor to the popular realme C35 at the entry to the budget level segment, though not a lot of solid specs leak been heard of, but some features have been confirmed so far. So, this realme C55 is expected to feature a big 4,880mAh battery along with 33W USB Type-C fast charging support.

This phone has a model number RMX3710 and a battery having part number BLP875 and it will become the only realme C-series smartphone. In terms of pricing, most expect the starting price to be in line with the realme C35, however, it could start at Rs.13k in India.

Here are the specs of the recently launched realme C33:

The C33 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 88.7% screen-to-body ratio, 400nits brightness, and 120Hz touch sampling rate. In terms of design, the phone comes with a boundless sea design with a right-angle bezel and 2D composite materials.

Realme C33 with Unisoc T612 SoC Launched in India

The C33 will come with a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera and the secondary camera might be a 2MP portrait shooter. The phone will feature a 5MP selfie camera on the front. As per the company, the camera has a new CHDR algorithm that enhances the highlight suppression and offers clearer backlit photos. 

The phone is powered by a Unisoc T612 processor with a max clock speed of 1.8GHz. This SoC is paired with Arm Mai-G57 GPU. The phone comes in two configurations 一 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. The phone also supports up to 1TB microSD card.
