Real Madrid have agreed a deal with Rayo Vallecano for the return of Fran Garcia in the summer. The player has been performing consistently well, and will be joining the first team for Los Blancos once the season is over.
The La Liga champions had let the defender go to Vallecano owning 50% of his rights, while also agreeing a release clause worth €10 million. They will only be paying €5 million for the left-back to return to the Santiago Bernabeu as a result of the clauses that they had agreed.
Fran Garcia to return to Real Madrid in the summer
The documents have been prepared for the move to go through, and it is now only a matter of time before the move is made official. Fran Garcia will sign a five-year contract with Real Madrid when he is presented as a new signing for them.
Garcia is one of the most exciting young full-backs in all of Europe, and is one of the best players for Vallecano. He has the second most progressive carries in all of Europe’s big five leagues, behind Vinicius Jr.
As a result, he could provide a whole new dynamic on the left flank which would allow for them to be more attacking. He has tremendous stamina as well, which would allow him to act defensively and track back after attacking.
The future of Ferland Mendy remains uncertain since the Frenchman isn’t always able to provide the attacking threat going forward. So, if he isn’t let go of, he could provide a different approach to the team so that they can compete on all fronts.
