A possible launch date for the Vivo X Fold+ has been suggested by its appearance on the list of Google Play-supported smartphones. Although the ad makes no mention of the rumored phone’s features, it seems to validate the X Fold+ moniker. Vivo X Fold S was the speculated moniker for the smartphone in earlier rumors, which a tipster just denied.
The handset’s specifications have also previously been rumored. The foldable phone was reportedly discovered on the Chinese 3C certification database and benchmarking website Geekbench.
The Vivo X Fold+ is listed under model number V2229A in the most recent list of Google Play-supported devices. According to the listing, Vivo may soon announce its foldable phone. There are no details about the future phone’s specifications in the list of Google Play compatible devices. The listing does, however, confirm the Vivo X Fold+ name, which has not yet received a formal announcement.

Additionally, it is confirmed that the device already has the Android 12 OS pre-installed. A 4.700mAh battery pack that supports 80W rapid charging, an 8.03-inch primary display, and a 6.53-inch secondary 120Hz AMOLED display are additional features.
The Vivo X Fold+ was identified on the Google Play Supported Devices List alongside other recent smartphones including the Vivo X Note. Sadly, this item doesn’t provide much other information beyond confirming the model number of this future foldable phone.
This does, however, imply that the smartphone’s launch is quickly approaching. Additionally, there are prior stories that provide some details. The device was featured on GeekBench and will use Qualcomm’s most advanced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and at least one model with 12GB of RAM.
