Realme has officially unveiled the official image of the GT 2 Master Edition that is expected to launch on the 12th of July. Earlier last month, the device secured the TENAA certification in China. From this, we got an idea of the specs it will carry along with its official images. Here’s a first look at the official image of the phone.
Realme’s next-generation GT Master Edition phones are not designed by Naoto Fukasawa:
Naoto Fukasawa, the Japanese designer who curated the plan on how the first iteration of the GT device will look had his signature on the back panel of the phone, however, the latest iteration appears to not have that signature which leads us to believe he has had nothing to do with the design of the successor.
Irrespective of this, the smartphone has an extremely attractive and modern design to it. The back panel has a leather back with a hard metal casing and it is extra durable at the edges featuring rivets. It will arrive in White and Green variants but we are not sure if the shades will have the hard metal casing design.
On the front, the smartphone has an AMOLED panel with a centrally aligned punch hole camera with slim bezels throughout. So far, the GT2 Master Explorer Edition is expected to arrive with a 6.7″ AMOLED panel with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It arrives with an HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 chipset and the TENAA listing revealed that it comes in 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM versions and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options. It is expected to be juiced by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W charging!
On the front, it arrives with a 16MP selfie shooter, and on the rear, it features two, 50MP sensors along with a 2MP macro shooter. In terms of OS, we get Android 12 OS with Realme UI 3.0 on top.
