ASUS officially unveiled its new ROG Phone 6 Series in India, the lineup has two devices namely the ROG Phone 6 and the ROG Phone 6 Pro. The devices feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset and the latest lineup is exclusively for mobile gamers as it arrives with the best software and hardware specs in the market.

The latest gaming series from the brand arrives with a 6.78″ E5 Samsung AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a touch sampling rate of 720Hz. The AMOLED panel on the smartphone offers a peak brightness of 1200 nits and supports HDR10+. In addition to this, the display has a layer of Gorilla Glass Vicrus for enhanced protection and the phones arrive with IPX4 splash resistance.
The ROG Phone 6 Series features the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset and also the latest GameCool 6 cooling system that reduces the temperature of the CPU by 10 degrees. The ROG Phone 6 Series arrives with PixelWorks i6 co-processor for the display. In terms o battery life, the phones have a 6,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging but the flip side is that users will only get a 30W adapter within the official package.
The latest smartphone lineup also features the AirTrigger ultrasonic buttons on the right end of the device and even on the rear as well. These buttons help gamers play better and serve as a controller in games.
There is not a lot of difference between the ROG Phone 6 and the ROG Phone 6 Pro, the smartphones arrive with an 18GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB storage variants. The vanilla version of the phone comes in a 12GB+256GB edition. The ROG Phone 6 Pro has a PMOLED ROG Vision display on the rear while the vanilla edition only arrives with an illuminated logo.
In the optics department, the ROG Phone 6 and Phone 6 Pro arrive with a triple camera setup featuring a 50MP+13MP+2MP setup. On the front, the phones have a 13MP selfie shooter.
ASUS has also integrated a newer edition of the AeroActive cooler and the ROG Kunai gamepad for the Series. It also launched a new pair of wireless pro earbuds as well but they will not be available in India.
The ROG Phone 6 has been priced at Rs. 71,999 for the 12GB+256GB version while the ROG Phone 6 Pro retails for Rs. 89,999 for the sole 18GB+512GB version. The brand has not mentioned anything about the availability of the Phone 6 Series in India.
