Manchester United are heading into the summer transfer window with plans to clear out a huge percentage of the squad. Players like Nemanja Matic, Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata and Edinson Cavani will be leaving upon the expiry of their contracts at the end of the ongoing campaign.
However, United are not stopping there. They will also listen to offers for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Eric Bailly. The two have been in and out of the first team, owing to competition from other players. Moreover, Wan-Bissaka’s lack of attacking output has hindered United’s game plan as well. So, the club is looking for offers and will accept a suitable bid for both defenders.
Manchester United ready to offload Wan-Bissaka and Bailly
Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s former club, Crystal Palace, are reportedly interested in signing him once again. There were a lot of expectations over the player’s move to Old Trafford, but things haven’t gone according to plan.
Manchester United will be looking to offload both players permanently in the summer. But, they might accept loan deals with serious buy options included as well.
Ralf Rangnick has already stated that there will be a number of new arrivals ahead of the new season. And with so many departures for the club, we are likely to see a brand new squad feature under Erik Ten Hag when the 22/23 campaign is underway.
