Google is trying to enter the tablet market once again after its earlier Pixel Slate failed to leave a lasting impression on users. After this, the company took a hiatus from manufacturing tablets. As per Rick Osterloh, Senior VP of Devices and Services at Google, the Pixel Tablet will be a premium device that will be run on its custom Tensor chipset. The brand is placing an emphasis on making the new device a consumer-focused gadget, especially for entertainment consumption overwork and productivity uses.
Google Pixel Tablet specifications:
That is all we know about this tablet, for now, the screen configurations, memory configurations, camera specs, and software features are all in the dark. The official renders of the tablet have given us an idea of what we can expect from the Pixel Tablet. The display appears to be from Google’s Nest Hub.
In the software department, the Pixel Tablet will run on Android OS with a custom version exclusively tailor-made to suit larger screens. The company has also promised to rebuild over 20 of its apps for large-screen devices, and some major third-party apps such as Facebook, TikTok, Zoom, and others.
Considering that the Pixel Tablet is still far from launching officially, it is early to get any details or assume anything about the product, however, we can see more details emerge as time goes on. You can follow Google I/0 2022 here.
