EA Sports introduced FUT Heroes in FIFA 22. There are a total of 19 FUT Heroes in the game. The FUT Heroes give a strong link to the players from the same league. Unlike Icons, they only give a green link to the players from the same league as theirs.
EA have introduced Hero Player Pick SBC where you’ll get the option to choose from 3 Heroes. The SBC requires 3 squads.

Is the Hero Player Pick SBC worth doing?
Among the 19 FUT Heroes available in the game, the only ones that can be used effectively in the game are Ginola, Abedi Pele, Di Natale and Cordoba. Robbie Keane, Joe Cole and Solskjaer fall into the average category. Other than these 7 FUT Heroes, the other cards are now almost unusable in the game.
From my Hero Player Pick, I got the option of Abedi Pele, Dempsey, Ricken. Choosing Pele among them was an absolute no-brainer. Pele falls into the list of those Hero players that can be still used properly in the game.
Abedi Pele comes from the Ligue 1, so he gives a strong link to every French league player. Mbappe, Neymar, Messi and other Ligue 1 players can get a green link from him, which makes his worth more.
Let’s look into the stats in more detail:
Abedi Pele’s Hero card has 4* weak foot and 4* skill move. He has a medium work rate for both attacking and defending.
The pace in this card is great for a CAM. The 91 pace would give you enough pace in your midfield to counterattack and go past defenders. He has good dribbling and passing stat. So if you put a chemistry style to increase his shooting he can be extremely good in the attacking third.
I had been using the Pele Hero card as a super-sub as of now. When your opposition defenders are tired in the second half, you can take advantage of his extra pace along with dribbling and passing to cause problems in the attacking third.
The price of Abedi Pele is currently just under 400,000 FIFA coins. So getting a player of such high value from a 70,000 priced SBC is actually great. So it is definitely worth doing the Hero Player Pick SBC.
