2021 is almost done, but the leaks and rumors related to the next-generation Apple iPhone Series are just beginning to surface, already. There is already quite a bit that we know about the Apple iPhone 14 line.
Now, a new report courtesy of MacRumors has cited analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s research note from TF International Securities and claims that the Apple iPhone camera technology will be upgraded drastically over the next two years.
It further emphasizes that the upgraded camera will help Taiwan-based manufacturer Largan Precision boost its market share, revenue, and profit. The company is the world’s largest supplier of smartphone camera lenses and accounts for nearly 30% of the market share across the globe.
The Apple iPhone 14 Pro models are expected to feature a 48MP primary sensor which will have support for 8K video recording.
The high-quality videos will be suitable for AR/VR devices from Apple once it gets launched.
The camera on the iPhone 14 Pro models should be capable of capturing both 48MP and 12MP mages via pixel binning, a technology that is already being used on other premium flagship smartphones in the market.
It is also being reported that the Apple iPhone 15 Series launching in 2023 will feature a periscope lens. This further adds to the ‘oomph’ of the Apple iPhone Series as it would boost the photography output.
