NVIDIA GeForce MX570 and MX550 Laptop GPUs launched

Recently the graphics giant has launched two new GPUs following its own MX series of graphics options for thin & light laptops. It is based on the same GA107 GPU we see on the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 for laptops though there are not many details released the chip has.

On the other hand, the NVIDIA GeForce MX550 is based on Turing architecture out of the TU117 GPU and both of them possess new GDDR6 memory, however, it should be limited to 2GB to 4GB (most probably) for both the entry-level NVIDIA GPUs.

NVIDIA GeForce MX570 and MX550 Laptop GPUs launched

Here’s the official statement from NVIDIA:

GeForce MX570
The NVIDIA GeForce MX570 graphics processor, the fastest of our MX GPUs, accelerates your laptop for work and play. Featuring more power-efficient CUDA Cores and with faster memory speeds than previous MX GPUs, the MX570 delivers faster photo editing, video editing, and gaming compared to the latest integrated graphics.

GeForce MX550
The NVIDIA GeForce MX550 offers an upgrade to the GeForce MX450. With more CUDA Cores and faster memory speeds than before, it offers a leap in performance and efficiency for photo and video-editing tasks, like using Adobe® Lightroom® and Premiere® Pro, and better gaming than integrated graphics.

Both the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce MX570 and MX550 graphics options are to launch in Spring 2022 and we could see a lot of laptops using them paired with upcoming AMD or Intel CPUs announced at CES 2022.
