Reliance Jio’s most affordable Android smartphone, the JioPhone Next was expected to launch in September this year but due to delays in receiving chips for its device and other supply chain problems has delayed the launch all the way until Diwali.

While the launch may have been delayed, the specs of the JioPhone Next are already here!

Google Play Console has listed some of the specs of the smartphone that they also helped develop.

The JioPhone Next will come with a 5.5″ HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1,440 pixels. The device will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 SoC with 2GB RAM and will operate the Android 11 Go Edition.

The JioPhone Next has a pretty fair 2,500mAh battery. Coming to the camera specs of the JioPhone Next, it has a 13MP primary sensor on the rear and an 8MP selfie shooter as well. It has AR Filters and Night Mode as well.

Jio will offer 2GB/3GB RAM options along with 16GB/32GB storage configurations.

The device comes with Automatic Read-Aloud for Text, Language Translation, and the Google Play Store as well.

The JioPhone Next is expected to retail for $50 or 3,499 INR.
