Micromax has launched two sets of earphones in the market this month which are the AirFunk 1 Pro and the Airfunk 1. A few days back we have received the AirFunk 1 Pro and were testing it for the past few days. This model costs around Rs.2,499 in India. It is a touch control Bluetooth earbud that supports environmental noise cancellation (ENC). We have received the AIrFunk 1 Pro in white colour, which has very beautiful aqua-blue coloured silicone ear tips.

Design and Built
The Micromax AirFunk 1 Pro has an extended earpiece part, which means the lower part that remains outside the ear. Well, this is how we are going to explain here. The TWS earbuds have a unique in-ear design with an angular silicon ear-tip, which is oval in shape that fits perfectly in the ears. This oval design is a new trend and the reason behind it is that our ear canal is somewhat oval in shape, so this oval earpiece design fits perfectly and creates an airtight design.
There is a specific area on the earbuds for touch control. We can also find a mini blue colour LED on the outer side of the earbuds that indicates the on/off and connectivity status of the earbuds.
Overall the built quality of AirFunk 1 Pro is really great. We can find the Type-C charging port at the bottom of the carrying case. The smooth and fluent texture of the earbuds gives a premium vibe.
Audio:
The audio quality of Micromax AirFunk 1 Pro is amazing, especially the highs and lows (audio) are up to the mark. When the volume is 100% the sound has a soothing effect but might not be needed every time. The 13mm drivers are one of the largest in the market for this range. The bass is very prominent and overall the quality is up to the mark for this price range. While playing games as well, I have not faced any lagging issues.
How to Pair?
Steps to pair the Micromax AirFunk 1 Pro with any iOS and Android devices.
- Open the lid of the case and take out the earbuds.
- Then turn on the Bluetooth of your smartphone/ iPad/ laptop.
- Search for any wireless device.
- Then the newly found device section you can see the name ‘AirFunk 1 Pro’.
- Click on the name and then it will ask to pair with the TWS earbuds.
- Accept the prompt and pair with it.
Comfort and Usage
Micromax AirFunk 1 Pro is very lightweight and I was not able to feel any weight on my earls for the earbuds. The design of the AirFunk 1 Pro allows environmental cancellation or ENC that will not allow any surrounding sound while plugged in the ears.
Now coming to the usage of the earbuds, the AirFunk 1 Pro supports IP44 level water, sweat and dust resistance. The earbuds come with three different types of silicone ear tips and it is for all kinds of ear canals. The earbuds thus can be used during workouts as well.
I would like to focus on the microphone of this earbud which is quite impressive but one thing I noticed after outdoor usage is that it faces a problem to receive the voice properly in a crowded place with a mask on. In such a situation, you need to talk loudly so that the microphone can receive your sound properly.
Battery Life and Charging Time
Coming to the battery life of the Micromax AirFunk 1 Pro, it has very decent battery life. I was using it for almost 3 days in a row with a very average listening time each day. So, users can easily get around 10 hours of battery life while using it on a daily basis with a normal usage time.
From a full battery drained condition if the earbuds are connected to the charger, it takes less than 1.5 hours and to be exact it takes just a few minutes over 1 hour to charge fully.

Our Thought
After using it for a week I am totally impressed with the audio quality, design and build of this earbud. The whole case of the TWS is very small and oval-shaped which can be easily carried anywhere.
Considering the price of Rs.2,499 you can definitely go for the Micromax AirFunk 1 Pro TWS earbuds. I can strongly recommend this earbud as it has now become one of my favourites and I am personally using it for now.
